They are typically small, circular, usually wider than their height, and inexpensive. Tealights derive their name from their use in teapot warmers, but are also used as food warmers in general, e.g. fondue.
Tealight candles are small candles that come in metal casings which enclose the wax as the candle burns. Typically, tealights are burned inside a candle holder, and they can be used for a variety of purposes including decoration.24-Jun-2022
Even though a tea light candle is smaller than a normal candle, it still can burn for a long time, and as it burns, the wick will become long. A long wick leads to a larger flame, which is more hazardous than a small flame, and a large flame burns the candle faster.

I've tried a lot of scented Tea light candles and they never have much of a scent so I was very glad to find these. The scent is strong and smells great. They do not burn as long as regular Rea light candles w/o scent, but that's the trade off you make if you want scented T-candles.
One tea candle can produce around 30 watts of heat, which means that you need at least 20 to 30 tea candles to heat a very small room and replace them every 3 to 4 hours.

Do not place candles on the floor. Candles arranged on the floor in a romantic display are a Hollywood staple, but not something to be replicated at home. Not only is there danger of one or more of the candles being knocked over, but tea lights and glass holders can get extremely hot when the candles are lit.
For preparing ahead of time, get a proper portable space heater or candle lantern instead. Summary: Four tealight candles got the exterior of a terracotta pot up to 270°F (132°C), while a single candle got it up to 127°F (53°C). It would take nearly 60 candles to effectively heat a 100-square-foot room.
Use a wick dipper to bend the wick into the wax. Use a snuffer, a little bell-shaped thing on a little stick, to snuff out the flame. Use the lid, if the candle came with a non-flammable lid, to suffocate the flame.
